As I take some time to read the news on a Sunday afternoon, I start realizing that news of GDPR compliance is gaining traction. I even cleared all my cookies to ensure that it was not just showing on my different feeds because of what I’ve read before. No, GDPR is showing up more and more.

I’m glad that it is beginning to get the attention it needs. What worries me is that, at this point in time, it leaves very little time left for organizations to get their house in order in time for May 25 (you can check out the GDPR countdown here).

The reality is, a lot of businesses are not going to be fully compliant by the deadline and that will pose a problem.

What can organizations do about it? I will dedicate the month of February to a series of weekly blog posts around GDPR. These blog posts will hopefully help companies understand what the first step is if they haven’t done anything yet or how to prioritize what to do next if they have done something already.

So join me in learning about GDPR in February. And if you have questions that are not covered in these posts, please feel free to reach out through our Contact page or at our corporate email.

Topics that will be covered include:

  1. What is GDPR – the requirements around this new regulation and who it will apply to
  2. What to do about GDPR if you need to comply
  3. Prioritizing GDPR requirements
  4. Ready… Set… Go! Achieving full GDPR compliance
